We are a family-run estate planning firm with a special focus on working with families who have minor children, loved ones with special needs, and artists (and those who support them!).

Hillary (Attorney and Owner of the Vaillancourt Law Firm) grew up in a single-family home after her dad passed away unexpectedly. Her mom went back to work full time while also going to school full time to update her degree and hopefully give her four kids a better life. Money was tight, and when they needed to hire an attorney to advocate for Hillary’s brother with special needs, they didn’t know where to turn.

Hillary never forgot what that felt like and tries to ensure that all her clients feel welcome, nurtured, and informed throughout the entire estate planning process.

Her husband, Mike, (our Client Services Director) has also experienced personal loss with his dad passing away over twenty years ago and more recently, his best friend of over twenty years. Mike understands how important drafting your estate plan is and works to ensure you have a smooth experience with us.

Our practice is virtual, so we can work with clients in all the states where we are licensed: Nebraska, North Carolina, and Virginia.
